    Anna's research focuses on developing algorithms to improve the scalability of mixed-integer linear and nonlinear optimization problems. During her Ph.D., she developed methods for combinatorial regression problems that improve tractability and solution quality. Before joining MERL, she was a postdoctoral fellow at Georgia Tech, where she developed computational methods to accelerate the solution of distributional mixed-integer programs with applications in power systems.
